[Schmidt was, of course, distracted by making sure his assassin had properly located Dr Erskine, but he still found the time to call Selina. He knew she couldn't call him, as she had no way of reaching him.

And he really hoped she'd succeeded, as the minihulks had proved a good distraction and it didn't look like this was going to be traced back to him.]

Ms Kyle, was your heist successful?

Okay, first of all, you don't send a big lizard for a job that requires finesse.

Second of all, it wasn't like the station was left completely unattended. I was promised a distraction to make it easy.

He was there for your protection, and to create a distraction if necessary. It should have been easy.

[He considered for a moment. A Doctor? Maybe she meant the Doctor, although honestly it's not like Schmidt knew anything about the man except in passing. He'd seen some of his broadcasts on the network. He was hardly a big enough man to take on a giant lizard. And neither was Lestrade.]

You mean that you were stopped by two people who I would hardly describe as formidable, unless they have some ability I am not aware of, stopped you from stealing finishing your job?
